PrayPass Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the PrayPass iOS app and any optional Premium subscription. Unless a different app license is provided in our App Store listing, your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Applicable mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these Terms.

1. What PrayPass provides

PrayPass lets you enter prayer petitions, generate personalized prayers with AI, and use supported Apple Screen Time protections to pause before opening selected distracting apps. Some functionality requires compatible iOS devices, permissions and a network connection. The audited version does not require you to create a PrayPass account.

PrayPass is designed for personal spiritual reflection and productivity. It is not an emergency, medical, mental-health or professional counseling service. AI output may be incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent with your beliefs or circumstances. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use it.

2. Age and parental involvement

You must be at least 13 years old to use PrayPass. If you are younger than the age of legal majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app. Any subscription purchase must be authorized by the Apple Account holder or through applicable family purchase controls. PrayPass is not intended for children under 13 and does not provide a verified parental-consent process for their use of AI features.

3. Your petitions and acceptable use

You retain responsibility for the original petition text you enter. Submit only information you are allowed to share. When you request AI generation or polishing, you instruct PrayPass to transmit the necessary petition text and, where applicable, recent generated prayers to Supabase and OpenAI as described in our Privacy Policy.

Do not attempt to disrupt, exploit or misuse the app, its AI integrations or protective features, or use PrayPass in violation of the law or others' rights.

4. Premium subscriptions and free trials

PrayPass offers auto-renewing subscriptions purchased through Apple's App Store. The plans currently configured for U.S. customers are:

Subscriptions automatically renew for their billing period unless canceled. Prices, currencies, taxes and eligibility may vary by location or subsequent changes; the full renewal price and terms shown on the Apple purchase screen govern the transaction you authorize. A trial is never guaranteed merely because a plan offers one to eligible customers.

You can cancel or manage your subscription under iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancel before the applicable renewal or trial end to avoid the next charge. Deleting PrayPass does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles payment processing and eligible refund requests. To request an eligible refund, visit Apple's Report a Problem. PrayPass provides a Restore Purchases control for applicable purchases associated with your Apple Account.

The features included in Premium must match the benefits shown on the purchase screen at the time you subscribe. Some functionality may remain accessible without a subscription. PrayPass must disclose any material changes in accordance with applicable law.

5. Screen Time and access to other apps

Protection depends on your choices, Family Controls authorization, and supported Apple APIs. Screen Time and app-shield behavior may vary with iOS versions, permissions or system conditions. PrayPass is not an emergency-access system: do not depend on it for immediate access to essential communication, health or safety services.

Before discontinuing PrayPass or changing subscription arrangements, review your protected-app settings and make sure you can access any apps you need. If shields remain unexpectedly active, use the app's available settings and contact [email protected] for assistance. Purchasing or canceling Premium does not replace your responsibility to check active device protections.

6. AI-generated content

Prayers and rewritten petitions are computer-generated suggestions intended for personal reflection. They are not guaranteed to be accurate, original, doctrinally consistent with every Christian tradition, or suitable for your circumstances. Review generated content before relying on it or sharing it. AI services may be unavailable during network, provider or maintenance interruptions.

7. Intellectual property

PrayPass's branding, app design, software and supplied materials belong to us or their licensors, subject to applicable law. You keep any rights you already have in your original petition text. These Terms do not assign ownership of your original writing to PrayPass. Use of the iOS software remains subject to Apple's applicable app license.

8. Changes and availability

We may improve, modify or discontinue features, maintain security or restrict misuse, subject to applicable law and any obligations to paying subscribers. App Store subscription billing may continue until you cancel through Apple, even if you uninstall the app or stop using it. If an essential purchased feature materially changes, applicable refund and consumer-protection rules continue to apply.

9. Disclaimers and applicable rights

To the extent permitted by law, PrayPass is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted service, compatibility with every app, or particular spiritual results. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, statutory remedies or protections that cannot legally be waived in your location.

10. Privacy, revisions and contact

Our Privacy Policy explains on-device storage, AI processing, subscriptions and Screen Time data. We may revise these Terms and will update the effective date and provide notice when legally required. For questions or support, contact [email protected].
